Another of the great Sex-Symbols and TV Icons of the 1980′s!
Catherine Bach will forever be known for one role: “Daisy Duke” on The Dukes of Hazzard.
Catherine was born Catherine Bachman outside Cleveland, Oh in 1954.
She got her start in the 1970′s appearing in such feature films as “The Midnight Man“, “Thunderbolt and Lightfoot” and “Hustle“.
In 1979 she landed her signature role on the Dukes of Hazzard, a series that ran from 1979-1985.
Thanks to her character, women’s cut-off blue jean shorts are often called “Daisy Dukes“.
At one time, her legs were insured for $1 Million dollars.
More recently, she has appeared in a number of Made-for-TV Dukes of Hazzard movies and also appeared on an episode of the TV series “Monk“.
She has also started her own clothing line and sells many of her items on her personal website.
Lovely lady. And unlike Jessica Simpson, you didn’t get the feeling you could put your ear up to hers and hear the ocean…..
