Music Flashback: Pablo Cruise

Pablo Cruise was a California Based Rock Band that had a great deal of success in the mid to late 1970′s.

They are one of those bands who’s name might not ring a bell, but when you hear their music on today’s classic rock stations, you go “OH…they sang that? I loved that song!”

Personally, I love those obscure bands!

Pablo Cruise was initially formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1973.

The classic lineup consisted of:

Corey Lerios – Vocals, Keyboards
David Jenkins – Vocals, Guitar
Steve Price – Drums
Bud Cockrell – Vocals, Bass
Angelo Rossi – Guitar

The band released their first album in 1975.

I think they have the coolest Band Logo in music!

They have released a total of 7 Studio Albums to date.

Their hits have included:

I Want You Tonight
Watcha Gonna Do?
A Place in the Sun
Love Will Find a Way
Cool Love
Don’t want to live without it

“Watcha Gonna Do?” and “Love will find a Way” both peaked at #6 on the Billboard Charts.

The group disbanded from 1986-1996 but is now active and touring with original members Price, Jenkins, and Lerios being joined by new member Larry Antonino.
