His music incorporated elements of Folk, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, and Bluegrass.

Responses

  1. I always had such a crush on him.

  2. SeaSweetie – I read that he spent alot of time in Colorado and frequently performed there.

  3. Semi-local boy makes good! (Peoria, a ways away from where I lived, if I recall correctly.) “Another Auld Lang Syne” was always my favourite of his.

  4. I loved his music – my college years. Another Auld Lang Syne was and is one of my favorites, too. My all time favorite is “Leader of the Band”, about his father.

  5. YourMajesty – Leader of the Band is one of my faves as well…..great song :)

  6. …and Same Old Lang Syne is about to be pounded into the head of anyone who goes to a mall this holiday season. Still a great song though.

Dan Fogelberg was also once described as the poster boy for the Martin D14 guitar, for the way he matched his tone to its.

  7. El Guapo – You’re right….still a classic after all these years :)
